The Luncheon Dialogue is a 1 hour session in the heart of Chinatown meant to bring together individuals and organizations interested and working on plant based diets and climate actions to discuss the role of plant based diets in creating a more sustainable future for all. The luncheon dialogue will be structured with three 5 minute remarks from each partner organization to showcase their work related to plant based dialogue, following which, guests are invited to share with each other ideas and challenges around transforming their individual lifestyles + diets to be more climate friendly.
Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation is a nonprofit humanitarian organization with over 10 million volunteers and supporters worldwide, working in 99 countries to alleviate the suffering of those in need. Tzu Chi’s volunteers are active in communities, working in Charity, Medicine, Education, Humanistic Culture, Disaster Relief, Environmental Protection, Bone Marrow Registry, and Community Volunteerism.
