The Future of Healthy Workplace Environments

The global pandemic of COVID-19 has brought to the forefront addressing indoor environmental quality in the built-environment, especially spaces where we congregate to work and have, at least in the past, spent a large portion of our days. In the current environment, the priorities are clearly moving towards healthier spaces in new builds but more importantly in addressing the existing building stock. How and what changes in the way we work and live for the short, mid and long term in a post-COVID world is still emerging and many uncertainties remain. While amid a pandemic crisis we are responding to the changing needs, we also need to begin planning for longer term changes to come. To discuss this, we are asking a panel of diverse experts in the built environment to discuss potential cultural shifts, innovative design and technological solutions and opportunities in the mid to long term future.

The panelists include;
- Anica Landreneau, Global Director of Sustainability, HOK
- Jonathan Flaherty, Senior Director - Sustainability and Utilities at Tishman Speyer
- Yetsuh Frank, Managing Director, Programs & Strategy at Building Energy Exchange (BEEx)
- Anna Dyson, Founding Director, Yale Center for Ecosystems in Architecture
- Varun Kohli, Head of Sustainability & Analytics, Buro Happold (Moderator)
