Join Agritecture and AgTech X for a week-long series of events in New York City that will explore agriculture’s role within the Sustainable City movement.
Agriculture is experiencing a cultural renaissance in urban centers around the world. Young entrepreneurs and experienced companies alike are investing in urban farming as a way to provide more local food and decrease environmental impact. But even as urban agriculture blossoms, it still remains a novel idea within the Smart City and Green Business movements.
At Agritecture and AgTech X, they believe the conversation around urban agriculture is too isolated. With Agritecture Xchange, they seek to broaden that dialogue with a week of educational events and knowledge sharing, from Sept 24-29th. They are bringing together entrepreneurs, architects, city officials, investors, and researchers to learn about how agriculture fits into the larger themes of sustainability and the urban environment.
At this event, you’ll learn from the amazing urban agriculture ecosystem in New York; exchange ideas and insights with a diverse group of innovative professionals from across the globe; and collectively we will drive toward a more sustainable future.
