BloomAgainBklyn

Bloomagainbklyn
(917) 533-3183

380 Clinton St, Brooklyn, NY 11231, United States

Our mission is to break the isolation of those in need and create connections among Brooklyn’s most vulnerable populations through the beauty and healing power of repurposed flowers. We serve trauma and homeless survivors; homebound seniors; families in shelters; nursing home residents; newly arrived immigrant families and children at-risk.

BloomAgainBklyn operates an ongoing series of weekly flower arranging workshops with a core group of volunteers and flowers donated by Trader Joe’s and recycled event arrangements. An average of 325 flower visits a week are made and delivered by volunteers to community partners residents. We also host a robust calendar of workshops in partnership with community non-profit, educational and government organizations. Our volunteers work side-by-side with the diverse populations from at-risk youth to low income, new immigrant and minority communities to create arrangements together, build friendships and facilitate community-building. BloomAgain creates and delivers over 18,000 bouquets annually.
