The eighth edition of Climate Week NYC will kick-off on September 19 with The Climate Group’s Opening Ceremony. 
Taking place at The TimesCenter, the opening ceremony will feature keynote speeches and panel discussions with high-profile climate leaders from the US government, the United Nations and world leading businesses.

Speakers include:

- Dr. Ernest Moniz, US Secretary of Energy
Rachel Kyte, CEO and Special Representative for the UN Secretary General for Sustainable Energy for All
Jonathan Pershing, US Special Envoy for Climate Change, United States Government 
- Roland Busch, Managing Board of Siemens AG & Chief Sustainability Officer
- Susan Aplin, CEO, Bambeco
- Eric Rondolat, CEO, Philips Lighting
- Andrew Plepler, Environment Social and Governance Executive, Bank of America.
Being the collaborative space for climate events in support of the UN Sustainable Development Goals and the Paris Climate Agreement, Climate Week NYC will feature over 70 events across the city, ranging from climate conferences, workshops, exhibitions and business and government panel discussions, drawing the attention on the key topics of the global climate agenda.
