    In 1609, Captain Henry Hudson arrived in New York Harbor and discovered the majesty of the Hudson River. Four hundred years later, on September 9 and 10, H209 Forum will commemorate this pioneering voyage by exploding water challenges facing coastal cities in the 21st century with experts from both sides of the Atlantic.

    Dutch and American business leaders, environmental, planning and engineering epxerts, decision and policymakers, as well as visionary students, will explore how major 21st century water challenges facing today's  city dwellers can be tackled for a sustainable future.

    This two-day conference (September 9-10) explores sustainable adaptation to climate change, keeping safe and dry, ensuring water quality and building in harmony with nature for megacities in the decades to come.
