On September 20th from 9:00am to 12:00pm at the Paley Center for Media, the SHINE Campaign will host a special briefing focused on the state of financing to achieve universal energy access.
SHINE: Investing in Energy Access for All is an emergent global campaign dedicated to ending energy poverty by 2030. On September 20th, we will welcome leaders in philanthropy, faith, and development to speak on the resources needed to achieve universal access to safe, clean, and affordable energy.
Sustainable Energy for All will present new research on global financial flows for energy access. In addition, leaders from the philanthropic sector will share their experiences supporting development of the energy access field, seeding critical new technological innovations, and investing in new business enterprises.
The program will also present an overview of existing investment opportunities for impact investors to help close the access gap and leverage larger flows of capital.
