People’s Climate Music: Frontline Communities - The Untold Stories of the Climate Movement

From Katrina, Sandy, Flint, Standing Rock, to Harvey, there are too many untold stories of climate disasters and frontline leaders fighting for climate solutions. As part of Climate Week NYC 2017 and in partnership with The New School, this event will explore the power of culture, organizing, and community driven solutions to empower vulnerable communities on the frontlines of climate change.

The event will also feature performances and conversations with influential leaders and celebrate the third anniversary of People’s Climate Music, the initiative that is strengthening the climate movement through culture. Artists and activists taking part in the event include Antonique Smith, Grammy nominated musician and actress, Adrian Grenier, Actor and Founder of The Lonely Whale Foundation, and many more.

Frontline communities are being impacted first and worst by climate change. NOW is the time we need to tell their stories to drive immediate action on climate change. We hope you will be able to join us!
