We hear about new environmentally responsible practices and clean tech all the time, so why aren’t we seeing sweeping results?
The problem isn’t lack of technologies or policy solutions; it's apathy at both personal and corporate levels. To achieve real progress, we need to design for factors like urgency, empowerment, self-interest, and intuitiveness of action. In other words, for people knowing:
Delaying is as catastrophic as doing nothing
I can have real impact (not a drop in a bucket)
Acting now benefits me personally
I have a list of things I can easily do today
As a part of Climate Week, on Wednesday, September 20, we’ll discuss how we can create real behavior change across consumers at scale to support environmentally responsible practices, policies, and products.
